MOUNTAIN BIKE TOUR LHASA - KATHMANDU

ULTIMATE BIKE TOUR... LONGEST AND DEEPEST BIKE DESCENT IN THE WORLD FROM THE TIBETAN PLATEAU INTO NEPAL.

Here is the Ultimate Mountain Bike Tour (Lhasa-Kathmandu), which is the world's Longest & Deepest Mountain Bike descent. The only trip in the world where one can continue to Everest Base Camp with bike! This is almost 15 days of biking with full logistic support where the total descent will be unbelievable 4600m till the bikers reach Kathmandu.

Over the Tibet plateau we pedal on endless crushed stone runways at settlements, monasteries and palaces. And the high point of this journey when comes, we will go to the monastery of Rongbuk and the Mount Everest Base Camp (5200). Here Reinhold Messner started 1980 his successful Everest solo Expedition. On this journey we stay overnight in hotels and in tents. Guides and the escort crew from Nepal and Tibet provide smooth operational sequence.

HIMALAYA CROSS...

On the highest plateau in the world (Lhasa), the desert like whole landscape and the roads seem as if they are joint with horizon. First, arrive in Kathmandu and explore its numerous attractions for 2 days. Fly Lhasa and spend 3 days for the necessary acclimatization enjoying the numinous Tibetan Capital and discovering numerous attractions. Trails navigating between Lhasa and Kathmandu include 4-days round Trip, Off Road to Rongbuk, the Valley beneath the Stunning North face of Mount Everest and the ultimate Everest Base Camp (5200m), also you'll continue to Camp I (5800m). The excursion overland back to Kathmandu that crosses 6 major passes encompasses spectacular towns with monasteries of Gyantse, Shigastse and Shegar till reaching the Tibetan Frontier at Thang La (5200m). Now begins the longest descent in the world, an almost astonishing 4600 meters to Nepal with a lifetime experience.

The Bike experience brings you in close experience with the three religions Buddhism, Lamaism and Hinduism in contact. The Tibetan culture, the country and people make this journey a great event.
