You will be surprised to know - most of the peaks in Nepal were either unnamed for a long time, and among those who had that of their own - were later renamed. Kongma Tse too, was formerly called Mehra Peak or simply Mehra. Rising dauntingly to the north of Kongma La and standing above the Khumbu Glacier opposite of Lobuje, it is the stunning one.
Experience is recommended however nothing stops you to give it a try. Just be there for the majestic massifs of Everest Range and the most amazing mountain cultures of the Sherpa in the world of Himalaya.
